The Godfather 1972 Storyline
The criminal drama “The Godfather” takes place in New York City between 1945 and 1955. The Italian-American mafia dynasty of the Corleone family and their involvement in organized crime are followed. The protagonists of the tale are Don Vito Corleone, the elderly patriarch, and Michael Corleone, his youngest child.
Vito is the target of an assassination attempt during Connie’s wedding by a rival mafia and a dishonest police captain. Michael takes command and seeks retribution while Vito is getting well. He takes out the assailants while enjoying his position in the family company.
The Godfather 1972 Storyline Continues
The family’s leader for a short while was Sonny, Vito’s oldest son, who was slain in a fight with a rival family. As the new Don, Michael increases the family’s power.
Michael encounters obstacles and betrayals over time. He strains to maintain both a moral façade and illegal activity. Power, familial relationships, and loyalty are all examined.
One of the finest films ever made, “The Godfather” is renowned for its performances and depiction of the perverse side of the American ideal. Two lauded sequels came after it.
